Profhilo is 100% pure Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and is a combination of Low and High Molecular Weight HA. The durability of Profhilo is increased by this unique hybrid complex, which in turn decreases its degradation by 8 x that of Hyaluronic Acid on its own. The Science behind PROFHILO®
The dual action of Profhilo owes its clever technology to both its Low and High molecular weight HA.
Low Molecular Weight HA: Hydration and Renewal
Low molecular weight HA regenerates Hyaluronic Acid production and provides deep hydration to improve moisture levels within the skin.
High Molecular Weight HA: Lifting and Tightening
High molecular weight HA tightens the skin. It allows volumetric replacement that helps lift the skin, without altering the appearance of facial features. The Profhilo treatment kickstarts the biostimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin. This helps to improve skin laxity and quality over 3-6 months after the treatment.

The concentration of hyaluronic acid in Profhilo is about 5 times more than the average skinbooster, making it a skin injectable with the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid in the world.
The chemical structure of hyaluronic acid in Profhilo is also distinct from that of other injectable treatments. Most cross-linked hyaluronic acids before Profhilo contains a chemical cross-linking agent, called 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE). Hyaluronic acid in Profhilo, on the other hand, is thermally cross-linked to form a type of molecule called Hybrid Cooperative Complex (HCC).

The result of this is the ability of Profhilo® to ‘bio-remodel’ the skin tissue, improving hydration and skin firmness through collagen production. This also allows hyaluronic acids of high and low molecular weight to link together, allowing them to release slowly and dissipate evenly under the skin.
Due to its unique structure and spreadability under the skin, the number of injection sites is only five each side of the face and neck using The Bio Aesthetic Point (BAP) technique.

Who Is Profhilo For?Profhilo® is suitable for anyone who is looking to improve their skin. It works especially well for anyone with signs of ageing skin looking to hydrate, tighten, and improve the quality of their skin. It is most effective for mild to moderate cases of skin laxity and fine lines.

How long before results are visible?While the effects of the Profhilo intense hydration boost can show up as early as 1 week after the treatment, the optimal impact of the firming, tightening and lifting of the skin can be observed from the 1 month mark.

How long do results last?The suggested treatment protocol for Profhilo requires an average of 2 sessions, spaced out 1 month apart. An additional 3rd treatment may be necessary, depending on the individual’s skin laxity. It is also recommended to repeat this procedure every 6 months for maintenance.
